Mount Pleasant Scores Early and Often in 44-7 Win Over Brownsville

Mount Pleasant, Pa. - Mount Pleasant raised their record to 2-3 with a 44-7 victory over visiting Brownsville during Spirit Night at Viking Stadium. The Vikings put up 38 points in the first half, scoring on the ground, through the air, with the foot on a field goal, and with a scoop-and-score fumble return. The Vikings added added 6 points with a touchdown in the second half, but the point after kick attempt was blocked. Brownsville, who moved their record to 1-4, got on the board with a touchdown with under 10 seconds left in the game to nullify the shutout.
