Greensburg Salem Boys Turn Up the Tempo to Beat Armstrong 49-35 

As the first half came to a close, it looked like Armstrong had Greensburg Salem right where they wanted them. The Riverhawks slow, workmanlike style of play kept the Golden Lions high scoring offense mostly in check, with Armstrong trailing only 19-15 at the break. But the Golden Lions found their gear in the second half, breaking loose for 30 points over the final 16 minutes to outgun Armstrong 49-35 on the Lions' home court. Greensburg Salem needed only three shooters to complete their scoresheet on the night. Marvel McGowan led all with 20 points, with Dante Parsons' 16 and Jack Oberdorf's 13 completing the total points for Greensburg Salem. Isaiah Price topped the Riverhawks with 14 points and Nate Baillie added 10 for the visitors. 

Greensburg Salem moves their section record to 2-4, 9-6 overall. Armstrong also holds a 2-4 section record, and they drop to 6-9 overall.
