Norwin Girls Basketball Explodes in Fourth Quarter for 62-35 Win over Penn-Trafford 

As if they were trying to give Penn-Trafford a false sense of hope, Norwin held Penn-Trafford at arms length, around a dozen-point margin for three full quarters, then dropped the hammer in the fourth, outscoring the Lady Warriors 21-4 in the final frame for a 62-35 non-conference win at Norwin's gym.

Norwin jumped out to a 20-8 first quarter lead before slowing in the second to lead 30-19 at intermission. As they had in the second, Penn-Trafford outscored the Lady Knights by a point in the third quarter, and opened the final quarter only 10 points down at 41-31. But like a cat who had been toying with a mouse, Norwin finally pounced on the Warriors in the fourth, launching a 21-point outburst that put the game out of reach, with a 62-35 final score that masked the good play of the Warriors in the middle frames. All four of Penn-Trafford's fourth quarter points were scored by Allie Prady, who finished the night with 6 total. 

Norwin's Jayla Wehner led the scoring with 14, and Olivia Gribble added 11. Emily Brozeski and Jessica Kolesar both chipped in for 8 for the Knights. Norwin had 8 players contribute to the scoreboard total on the night. Penn-Trafford was led by Stephanie O'Donnell with 10, followed by Kenzie Powell with 8. 

Norwin bumps their record to 10-1 overall, while Penn-Trafford owns a 5-6 overall record.
