Greensburg Salem Runs Up The Score at WCCA Cross Country Championships

Youngwood, Pa. - Greensburg Salem's Cameron Binda outran the field in a time of 16:54.1, with teammates Mark Brown and Dylan Binda next to break the tape, as the Golden Lions swept the top three spots in the Westmoreland County Coaches Association Boys Cross Country Championship at the Westmoreland County Community College course in Youngwood. In the girls event, Latrobe's Maria Cawoski finished in 20:20.8 to beat Greensburg Salem's Emma Andrasko to the line with Laura Aston of Hempfield finishing third just ahead of Latrobe's Rachel Harter. 

The team championships in the large school category were won by the Norwin boys and Greater Latrobe girls. Greensburg Salem swept the boys and girls team titles in the smaller schools category.
