Field Hockey - Latrobe vs Norwin

Norwin Field Hockey Blanks Latrobe 7-0 on Jessica Kolesar Hat Trick 

Jessica Kolesar's three goals were 2 more than the Norwin Lady Knights needed as they beat Latrobe field hockey 7-0 in an evening match at Greater Latrobe's Rossi Field.

Both team were kept off the scoreboard for much of the first half before Kolesar found the net for the Knights with 11:31 remaining in the half. Once the scoring drought was broken, Norwin quickly added two more as sophomore Karlie Pavlic and Maura Columbus scored at 9:04 and 6:18 respectively in the half. Nobody else scored before the half ended with Norwin leading 3-0.

Kolesar found the net twice in a row to open second half scoring, at 20:36 and 18:09, as the Lady Knight's senior recorded the hat trick and game high honors. Carly Kubacka scored at 16:00 and Jade Taylor had the final tally of the game at 11:00 remaining. 

Bailee Kelly recorded the shutout in net for Norwin, with Lynn McClain taking over for the final 11 minutes of the match. Sarah Seremet was in goal the entire match for the Lady Wildcats.
