Derry Boys Basketball Falls to Berlin Brothersvalley 72-64

Entering the final quarter, things were looking up for the Derry boys as they overcame a 4-point halftime deficit with a third quarter surge that had them outscore Berlin Brothersvalley 22-15. But the Trojans couldn't hold their 3-point lead in the final stanza, as Berlin outscored them 25 to 14 to win 72-64 in the final game of the two-day Chuck T. Smith Tip-Off Tournament at Derry Area High School. 

Will Spochart led the scoring for Berlin with 26 points, while Elijah Sechler had 14, Cole Blubaugh 11, and Cannon Hay chipped in for 10. Derry was led by John Kerr's 21 point effort, with Aidan Bushey adding 15 and Tanner Nicely contributing 12.
