Local Wrestlers and Coaches Appear on Inaugural Westmoreland Sports Network Wrestling Kickoff Show 

Our media partners at Westmoreland Sports Network broadcast their inaugural Westmoreland County Kickoff Show on Sunday, December 9, live from Manor Valley Golf Course. Coaches and wrestlers from high schools across Westmoreland County, as well as Seton Hill University, joined hosts Kris Smith, George Carter, and Jeff Shaw for an afternoon of wrestling talk as a new season of action is underway. The broadcast included (in order of appearance) coaches and wrestlers from Penn-Trafford, Burrell, Greater Latrobe, Mount Pleasant, Valley, Norwin, Franklin Regional, Derry Area, Kiski Area, Seton Hill University, Southmoreland, and Greensburg Salem. Former Franklin Regional Panther and NCAA National Champion wrestler Nico Megaludis was a special guest appearing on the broadcast, as well as Jeff Upson from PA Power Wrestling.  

Westmoreland Sports Network broadcasts a number of local wrestling matches throughout the season as well as the annual Westmoreland County Coaches Association Tournament, held this season on January 4-5, 2019 at Norwin High School.
