2nd Annual Westmoreland Sports Network Wrestling Preview Show

Westmoreland County wrestling teams and fans moved one step closer to the start of another season with the 2nd Annual Westmoreland County Wrestling Kickoff Show on Saturday, November 30, on the Westmoreland Sports Network.

Westmoreland Sports Network's wrestling gurus Kris Smith, Jeff Shaw, and George Carter hosted the event with a live video broadcast from Norwin High School.

Coaches and wrestlers from 11 Westmoreland County teams stopped by to recap last year and talk about their upcoming season. In addition to interviews, the event also served as a scrimmage for several of the teams, as they got a chance to mix it up on the mat with some of their county peers.

Schools participating (in order of appearance on the broadcast) were Norwin, Franklin Regional, Greensburg Salem, Kiski Area, Valley, Southmoreland, Penn-Trafford, Burrell, Greater Latrobe, Derry Area, and Seton Hill University.

Check out over 90 of our photos of the wrestlers and WSN crew below. You can watch a replay of the complete broadcast on the Westmoreland Sports Network or at https://www.meridix.com/event/161066.

Western PA Sports will once again provide photo coverage of this year's Westmoreland County Coaches Association Wrestling Tournament, coming up on January 3rd and 4th, 2020, at Kiski Area High School.
