Latrobe Boys Lacrosse Crushes Allderdice 16-3

Latrobe scored early and often in crushing visiting Allderdice 16-3 in a boys lacrosse matchup on Monday, May 10, at Greater Latrobe's Rossi Fleld.

The Wildcats put five goals on the scoreboard before Allderdice ended the shutout on a goal with 1:31 left in the opening period. Latrobe added another before the first period horn sounded to lead 6-1.

Latrobe then added five goals in the second period while holding Allderdice scoreless to take a 11-1 lead into halftime.

Latrobe's second goal of the third period put the game into a running clock rule for the remainder of the game with over 8 minutes to play in the third. The Wildcats added another before the period ended, while keeping the Dragons off the board for the second consecutive quarter. Latrobe led 14-1 going to the final frame.

Each team scored a pair of goals in a quickly played fourth quarter as Latrobe prevailed with the 16-3 victory in front of the home crowd. 

Latrobe was lead by a pair of freshman, as Aiden Kammerer's 6 goals and JT Kaecher's stellar performance guarding the cage were too much for the visitors from Pittsburgh to overcome. Sophomore Ian Jobe led the Dragons with a pair of goals.
